Throughout the book the authors use a virtueethics approach. The system relies not only on procedural but also on virtueethics. According to virtueethics, on the other hand, non-moral commitments are genuinely valuable and important. There is no doubt that largely because of his efforts there is a lot more to choose from in the virtueethics literature today. This problem assumes, of course, that virtueethics recommends developing balance in our current circumstances. It is worth pointing out that this argument does not collapse virtueethics into some form of duty- or rule-based ethic.
