a good/bad sailor phrase someone who is not/often ill when travelling by boat: 不晕船/晕船者 I wasn't a good sailor at the best of times and the sea was very choppy that day. Sorry, but I'm not the best sailor. I would rather take a train up the coast, if possible. Don't worry about me - I'm a good sailor. I'd never go by boat - I'm a bad sailor.
