Members of Colorado's Two-Spirit Society participated in the local Pride. Although the label is modern, many indigenous groups have identified for centuries with the concept of being two-spirit. They feel that colonizers robbed indigenous people of their spiritual traditions and way of life regarding two-spirit people. |
