Examples of sheet music

Moreover, with economic growth in the middle classes, a larger percentage of the population participated in domestic musical recreation, purchasing all types of sheetmusic excerpts for performance at home.
And like opera arias, music hall songs were issued as sheetmusic for domestic consumption, making it even easier for the public to become acquainted with them.
Those who printed sheetmusic feared that their trade would disappear; those who made gramophone records had the same fear.
