Examples of alarm call


These examples are from corpora and from sources on the web. Any opinions in the examples do not represent the opinion of the Cambridge Dictionary editors or of Cambridge University Press or its licensors.
This enables them to include many cases that do not require it - such as the elicitation of escape by a conspecific's alarmcall.
If one group member sees something dangerous, usually a predator, an alarmcall is given and in most cases the group moves away from the source of danger en masse.
I am looking into ways of mechanising the alarmcall service.
