释义 | Corriente noun[ C or U ] uk /ˌkɒr.iˈen.teɪ/ us /ˌkɔːr.iˈen.teɪ/pluralCorriente or Corrientes a type of cow, originally from Spain, kept mainly in the US for rodeos(= a North American sport of riding cows or catching them with ropes) or for their meat, which contains very little fat: The rancher has been raising Corriente, not for their beef, but as stock for other breeders. Corrientes are fairly small cattle, with long horns that curve upwards. The ranch has a long history of raising Corriente cattle, used mainly for rodeo events. A chute door opens and a steer, usually a 500-pound Longhorn or Corriente, bolts for the middle of the rodeo arena. If tenderness and taste are important to you, and if less fat and less cholesterol matter to you, you might try Corriente beef. Almost 200 Corriente steers will be driven from a pasture north of Cheyenne along Interstate 25 to Frontier Park.
