释义 | BETA Examples of voxelsvoxels isn’t in the Cambridge Dictionary yet. You can help! Note that all significant voxels are shown irrespective of the size of their cluster. Left : a cluster of 1074 significant voxels located in right mediodorsal thalamus. Obstacles could be described as pixels or voxels, in which case the basic geometric intersection calculations would be line-line rather than line-ellipse. The size (expressed in terms of voxels) is given for the entire cluster. The reason for using different thresholds for the group and between-group analyses is that the search volumes, or number of voxels tested, are different. Early bilinguals, however, showed greater total numbers of active voxels than late bilinguals for both tasks. Voxels of this size often include in their volume multiple tissue types, which seriously complicates interpretation of metabolite levels. This procedure generates several clusters of suprathreshold voxels that are spatially contiguous in-plane. We thus obtained seed voxels from the same anatomical region that showed an optimally similar functional behaviour between individuals. This obfuscates the color constancy paradox, in that these voxels contain illumination. Problems also arise because in many studies statistical maps are not corrected for multiple comparisons between voxels. Voxels showing correlations in blood flow during a specific cognitive task are assumed to be functionally connected. We also used cubes whose sizes were 2 2 2[mm] as voxels. Voxels with gray matter probability higher than 0.4 were selected. Corresponding pixels in the images from each person are then assumed to represent the same voxels of tissue across the brains of individual subjects. For the between group comparisons only that subset of voxels that is activated in one group or both are compared. Summing over voxels, the tissue class volumes can be estimated over the whole brain. |
