In English, many past and present participles of verbs can be used as adjectives. Some of these examples may show the adjective use.

This fourfold alleluia resembles the alleluia antiphons derived from normally texted antiphons; the psalm tone is comparable to the normal second psalm tone.
The first version is enormously taxing for the voice, especially when one considers the fully texted ends of the initial section and refrain.
A similar phenomenon but with different requirements appears in the partially texted sequence.
In the former, two upper voices, both normally texted, share the upper melodic profile and are supported by a lower part usually designated tenor.
I have limited my examples to instrumental compositions in order to avoid the additional semantic issues that necessarily arise from texted music.
