None of the adults bred showed any intermediate condition in the markings of the hind tarsi, and it would appear, therefore, that the two species are probably not intermating. Legs with tarsi of fore and hind legs 5-segmented tarsi; tarsi of middle leg 5- (most species) or 4-segmented. Tarsi remarkable, the distal portion bulging dorsally and ventrally, tapering rapidly, bearing a spur. Fore and mid tarsi all yellowish. Hind tarsi dark reddish brown above, paler below. Tarsi ending bluntly, with two spurs. Head, palpi, thorax, and legs fleshy-ochreous, head somewhat pinkish tinged, tarsi ringed with blackish.
