释义 | sulci plural ofsulcusspecialized Examples of sulcisulci Cuts were made along the crests of gyri and the depths of sulci. Solid lines represent the free margins of plates; serrated lines represent sutures; dotted lines represent scute sulci. The sulci are shallow but easily distinguishable, and visible on all specimens. Further, a higher cut shows the cortical sulci that are seen when one looks at the top of the brain. The brain at 24-week gestation has no sulci or gyri except for the clefts separating the major hemispheres and lobes. The occipital lobes were limited by the interhemispheric sulci, the parieto-occipital fissure, and the temporo-occipital notch. The position of the recording array with respect to morphological landmarks (sulci) was recorded and photographed. The frontal lobes were limited by the frontal pole, lateral fissure, and interhemispheric, circular insular, central, olfactory, and cingulate sulci. The lesion can be seen in these images as the lighter region between the lunate and superior temporal sulci. The temporal lobes were limited by the lateral, circular insular, anterior calcarine, and inter-hemispheric sulci, amygdala-hippocampal complex, lateral ventricles, and temporo-occipital notch. The spinal nerves which form the brachial plexus run in an inferior and anterior direction within the sulci formed by these structures. Thus, phase structure is apparently not fixed by brain anatomy, for example, fissures and sulci, although anatomy probably influences phase structure. In the case of dipole layers partly in fissures and sulci, somewhat larger areas are required. These examples are from corpora and from sources on the web.
