It did not involve a simple exchange of crime for war reportage. Two text categories (reportage, scripted monologue), however, did not conform to this overall pattern. The media's reportage of the turnout for the second round was once again off the mark. Quoted speech transcribed from interviews reflects the generally more informal nature of spoken language, and is slightly less formal than general written reportage.
