In English, many past and present participles of verbs can be used as adjectives. Some of these examples may show the adjective use.


For example, from the new fact ' 'the grass is wet' ', one can abduce that ' 'it has rained not long ago' '.
It was always raining, it rained every day.
And then when it rained it won't come on you.
Irrigation occurred daily at 6:00 am and 6:00 pm for 45 min unless it rained.
