In grammar, if an adjective, etc. occurs postpositively, it comes after the word it modifies(= whose meaning it limits or adds to). :
"Elect", as in "the president elect", is one of a very small number of adjectives that occur postpositively.
These adjectives can only be positioned predicatively or postpositively.
"Redux" belongs to a small class of English adjectives that are always used postpositively, that is, they always follow the words they modify.
