Examples of marital statusmarital status There were no statistically significant differences in age, gender, psychotic features, current employment, or maritalstatus between patients with melancholic and non-melancholic features. In the current survey there were no significant differences in maritalstatus between men and women. The results for education and maritalstatus were mixed, and will be discussed in the last section of the paper. Two of the more researched areas have been changes in employment and maritalstatus. They are also significantly more likely to live alone, which is largely a function of gender differences in maritalstatus. It was our expectation that depressive symptoms would be disproportionately distributed across age, gender, and parental maritalstatus. The sample included relatively few cases of single-headed households, and maritalstatus had no effect on variety rank.
