A small number (4 per cent) reported having written policies on flexibleworking arrangements, but none mentioned elder care. Although many companies reported that health promotion was a priority, fewer than half viewed flexibleworking arrangements for caregiving employers as part of health promotion. The majority of companies (77 per cent) reported no written policy regarding flexibleworking arrangements, while 18 per cent reported an ' informal ' policy.
