Another problem with spreadsheets is their limitations in terms of the expressive power of their programmingparadigm. Spreadsheets embed what is, in practice, a programmingparadigm, based on the model of cells and cell variables. The objectoriented programmingparadigm integrates data and procedures. However, the difficult justification of this operation in our framework (the functional-logic programmingparadigm) has inclined us to think in an alternative: the deletion operation. The spreadsheet paradigm, a first-order subset of the functional programmingparadigm, has found wide acceptance among both programmers and end users. In studying this programmingparadigm, we develop novel techniques that, to the best of our knowledge, are not part of the literature. Moreover, object-oriented languages are mostly imperative and it is unclear yet how well objects can fit in the functional programmingparadigm. We used the more common object-oriented programmingparadigm, rather than the functional one. This programmingparadigm is used frequently for computations on large data sets. This paper is also not a comparison of generic programming to any other programmingparadigm, be it object-oriented, functional, or otherwise. We contend that logic programming is generally useful for such reasoning and for supporting the rule-based programmingparadigm in context-aware applications. This idea has been extended to many programming languages giving rise to different notions of program module, each one being attached to a programmingparadigm. The richer intensional view of functions offers, in addition, many possibilities that have not been systematically supported by any previous programmingparadigm. From the logic programmingparadigm, it inherits a rule-based presentation and a nonmonotonic semantics by means of negation as failure. Each programmingparadigm has certain advantages and disadvantages. This is followed by an overview of the object-oriented programmingparadigm. In fact, the following can be regarded as a comprehensive case study in this new programmingparadigm. Intensional programming is a programmingparadigm that is based on intensional logic. The formulation and elaboration of the paradigms of market orientation and interaction has just started, so in the following the focus will be on the agent-oriented programmingparadigm. Logic programming with stable model semantics as constraint programmingparadigm. These examples are from corpora and from sources on the web.
