Examples of print run


These examples are from corpora and from sources on the web. Any opinions in the examples do not represent the opinion of the Cambridge Dictionary editors or of Cambridge University Press or its licensors.
Reprints ordered after the printrun has been completed will be subject to a higher charge.
It had a very short printrun and copies, especially those with the charts intact, are extremely rare.
Authors and publishers often sold books in this manner as a way to ensure that most of the copies from any given printrun would already have a market.
Most likely, therefore, material reasons played a significant part, such as too short a printrun, too many distribution problems, and lack of active ' patronage ' or support at the time.
That is a viable basic printrun depending on the size of the volume and other considerations.
