Modernphysics must draw geometry into the realm of its investigations. Arguably, thermodynamics is as central to physical chemistry as electrodynamics is to modernphysics. But the reframing of objectivity in modernphysics could ironically be at stake. Modernphysics is not experimental because it applies apparatus to the questioning of nature. The transition from classical to modernphysics is portrayed here much more extensively - though of course merely in broad brush strokes. The fields chosen for comparison are modernphysics, modern experimental psychology and modern neoclassical economics. In modernphysics there are just regularities of one sort or another. Conversely, modernphysics, as experimental, is dependent upon technical apparatus and upon progress in the building of apparatus. However, modernphysics can now provide real situations where there are very few atoms and quantum discreteness can be observed. A careful analysis, one not blinded by the perspective of modernphysics, shows this not to be the case. Modernphysics is not experimental a physics because it applies apparatus to the questioning of nature. The same matrices also arise elsewhere, especially in the modernphysics of super-symmetry. The same sort of questions need to be asked for postmodernism and modernphysics, or postmodernism and chaos theory. Accordingly, the ordering attitude and behaviour display themselves first in the rise of modernphysics as an exact science. This is an essential role within modernphysics, particularly when it is a question of probability and randomness. At this point let me postpone an analysis of these searches for parallels between postmodernism and modernphysics, and instead move directly on to representations of chaos theory.
