Indeed, residential care businesses became known for their financialsecurity and profit-making potential. The results show that the majority of the sample reported good health, financialsecurity and overall satisfaction with life, but with observable inequalities. Here, financialsecurity in general, and pensions policy in particular, are crucial. Yet his concern for their financialsecurity did not end here. Lifecourse factors played a role for our sample in terms of the current financialsecurity and housing. Thanks to the large pension, their financialsecurity was not at issue : the concern was about the source of reliable support should it be needed.
