Examples of fair copy

Many canon autographs are in sketch or draft notation rather than faircopy.
In the faircopy each of the six instruments has its own staff, with the staves arranged in the usual score order.
The crucial question, therefore, is whether the faircopy accurately represents the contents of the record kept during sittings.
We have, however, shown that it is a faircopy of a finished work.
Formatting can simply involve saving files onto a disk, or could mean laboriously writing by hand a faircopy of a drafted score (and possibly score parts).
